Two Color Brioche Stitch

viber imageThe pattern is knitted in multiple of 2+1 stitches and in 6 row repeat. It is knitted with two colors. Also you need a circular or a pair of socks needles to work on this pattern. The reason is because in some rows you need to push all the stitches to the right end of the needle and knit the same row from the other side.

Row 1 (wrong side): with color A: k1, rep (*k1b see below, k1)
Row 2 (right side): with color A: k2, rep (k1b, k1), k1
Row 3 (wrong side): with color B: k1, rep (k1b, k1)
Row 4 (wrong side): with color A: k2, rep (k1b, k1), k1
Row 5 (right side): with color A: k1, rep (k1b, k1)
Row 6 (right side): with color B: k2, rep (k1b, k1), k1

*k1b: Insert the tip of the right needle into the stitch below the next stitch from front to back, knit normally

Bind off on row 5 after you reach your desired measure.
Bind off: With Color A, k1, rep (k1b, sl1, k1, bind off one)
Cut yarn and pull it through the remaining stitch.
