- Fit adult size small
- Head circumference 22″/ 56 cm
- Two different color worsted weight yarn
- Circular Needle: size 7 (4.5 mm) length 16″/40 cm
- Measuring tape
- Pair of scissors
- Eye blunt needle
- Stitch marker
Cast on 56 sts
9″/24 cm over Brioche stitch
4 rows over finishing and blocking
Measure about 95 cm from beginning of color A yarn, put it on one of the needles having shorter end in front of you, CO 56 stitches making a little bit loose cast on.
for brioche stitch you need to cast on fewer number of stitches as you normally do. Here is the simple math you can do to figure out your stitches.
Multiple the number of stitches you normally cast on for a pattern by 2/3. For example, if the given cast on number is 84 stitches, then 84*2/3= 56 (you need to cast on 56 for working on brioche stitch)
