Smaragd Cardigan Pattern

When it comes to the sweater or cardigan knitting projects, many knitters think of it as a challenging, time consuming and disappointing project. But having a right pattern in hand and patience at the same time, makes it all right to overcome the hesitation and start doing it! Here is a great example of cardigan pattern which has been made by Svetlana Volkova, and then has been tried as a sweater by others (the picture).

Araucania Ranco solid {75% Wool,25% Nylon, 376 yards /344 meters per 100g} – 3/4/4/5/5/6/6 skeins, or fingering / 4 ply weight yarn to obtain gauge.
